The Collegiate Licensing Company Welcomes
The University of Louisiana at Monroe

Monroe, LA, and Atlanta, GA -- The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) is proud to announce the addition of the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) to its Consortium of colleges, universities, bowl games, and athletic conferences.

The University of Louisiana at Monroe is a multi-purpose, state-assisted institution of higher education. ULM offers high quality academic and experiential opportunities to meet the academic, cultural, vocational, social, and personal needs of undergraduate, graduate and continuing education students. Today, ULM claims more than 40,000 graduates and an annual enrollment of approximately 9,000 students.

ULM sponsors 18 sports programs and is a member of the Southland Conference in addition to competing at the Division I-A level in football as a member of the Sun Belt Conference. ULM was the first school to win both the Southland Conference Men’s and Women’s All-Sports titles in the same year. Only two schools have ever accomplished the feat, and ULM has done so a league-leading four times (1984, 1988, 1990, 1994). ULM also won the 1987 NCAA Division I-AA Football National Championship.

Athletic success and academic excellence are strong contributors to a solid licensing program, igniting fan and alumni interest to purchase officially licensed product. Royalties generated from the sale of official product are used to support several University programs.

With the addition of the University of Louisiana at Monroe, the CLC Consortium now includes eight members from the state of Louisiana. The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Louisiana State University, the University of New Orleans, Southern University, Tulane University, the Nokia Sugar Bowl, and the State Farm Bayou Classic also are members of the Consortium.

As a member of the CLC Consortium, ULM has access to all staff and services of CLC, the oldest and largest licensing representative in the nation. CLC's members include more than 200 colleges, universities, bowl games, athletic conferences, the Heisman trophy, and the NCAA (including the Men's and Women's Final Four, the College World Series, and all NCAA Championships). Based in Atlanta, CLC is a full-service licensing representative, which employs a staff of more than 60 licensing professionals with the capability to establish and manage every aspect of a collegiate licensing program.
