Villanova Wildcats Win FCS National Championship
The Villanova Wildcats, a CLC partner since 1994, were crowned National Champions in the NCAAź Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) championship game Friday, December 18. The Wildcats defeated the Montana Grizzlies, also a CLC partner, in the game that was held in Chattanooga, Tenn.
It is the first-ever FCS national championship for Villanova.
Villanova students, fans, and supporters, including nearly 100,000 alumni, will want to commemorate the University’s first FCS championship. Coming off of a record royalty year in 2008-09, this National Championship will help ensure another great year for the Villanova licensing program.
Villanova FCS Championship product is now available through campus retailers and in key stores in the Philadelphia area, as well as the Internet.
