    CLC inks licensing deal with the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl

    ATLANTA, Ga., (Sept. 24, 2008) - The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), an IMG company, has signed an exclusive agency agreement with the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl to manage its trademark licensing program.

    The agreement will give the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl a greater ability to protect and market its brand through a comprehensive trademark-licensing program customized by CLC, which currently represents nearly 200 collegiate properties. Prior to joining CLC, the Bowl’s trademark licensing program was managed internally.

    The Collegiate Licensing Company is the official licensing agent for the SEC and the ACC, and represents 11 of 12 SEC institutions and 9 of 12 ACC institutions. The Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl will be played on December 31, 2008.
