CLC Partner BU Captures NCAA Men’s Hockey Championship
Championship Merchandise Now Available at Select Retailers


Atlanta, Ga., (April 16, 2009) – The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), a division of IMG College, congratulates licensing partner Boston University on its 2009 NCAA Men’s Hockey National Championship.

The championship is BU's fifth NCAA Men's Hockey National Championship and first since 1995. The response from BU fans, alumni, and supporters, driven by a phenomenal comeback victory that will certainly be remembered in sports lore for many years, has been impressive as retailers throughout the region note a steady stream of shoppers seeking BU Hockey National Champions product.

CLC's Retail Marketing and NCAA & Bowl Properties Divisions has been busy managing BU's National Champions program and leveraging it to broaden BU's brand presence throughout the region. The NCAA and BU license four manufacturers to produce NCAA Champions product. Further, CLC regularly supports the efforts of roughly 10 retailers, representing 30 actual locations, to meet the demand for BU product in the Northeast.
