Collegiate Licensing Company Announces Partnership
with the University of Richmond
ATLANTA, GA (March 22, 2017) – The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), the licensing affiliate of IMG College, today announced it has reached an agreement with the University of Richmond to manage its domestic trademark licensing program effective July 2017.
Through this new partnership, Richmond will gain access to the CLC’s industry-leading brand protection, brand management and brand development services. CLC will also work with the university to leverage best-in-class licensees, tap into key retailers, provide access to exclusive retail intelligence and consumer insights, and develop customizable national and regional retail marketing programs.

The University of Richmond joins four of its conference peers that are also represented by CLC, including the University of Delaware, Drexel University, James Madison University and the College of William and Mary.

CLC, the oldest and largest collegiate licensing agency in the United States, currently represents nearly 200 colleges, universities, bowl games, and athletic conferences in the $4.55 billion collegiate licensed segment of the retail market.
