ATLANTA, Ga., (December 4, 2012) – On the heels of the 2012 college football bowl selections, The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), an affiliate of IMG College, today announced it has renewed partnership agreements with 16 bowl partners to continue managing the bowls’ respective trademark licensing programs.
CLC also announced it has added four new bowl properties to its client roster including the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl, the Heart of Dallas Bowl, the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas, and the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl.
CLC is now the official licensing agent for 26 college football bowl games including the BCS Football National Championship Game. For a complete list of CLC’s bowl properties, please visit www.clc.com
“We are excited to extend partnership agreements with 16 of America’s top college bowls, as well as to establish new relationships with four additional bowl properties,” said Cory Moss, CLC’s Senior Vice President and Managing Director. “Bowl games are a part of the college fabric, and we look forward to helping connect the passionate fans of the participating institutions to the bowl experience.”
The agreements will give each college football bowl a greater ability to protect and market its brand through a comprehensive trademark licensing program customized by CLC, which currently represents nearly 200 collegiate properties.
CLC’s bowl announcement helps cap a banner year for the oldest and largest collegiate trademark licensing agency in the U.S., including signing new BCS schools like Arizona State, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest and renewing many major licensing deals such as Kentucky, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Arizona, and Nevada.
